Our packages include all plane (international flights from France and domestic flights in Thailand), bus, train and boat tickets. As you will need to collect your plane tickets from the airport, an e-mail detailing your booking information will be sent to you. Hence, we can not sell you transport tickets on their own, unless you are able to come and collect them from our agency in Koh Samui. This is due to the cost and the risks involved in sending these within and outside of Thailand. This page is designed to help you by giving comprehensive information about the available routes, means of transport and fares in Thailand so as to allow you to plan your travel in advance. |

The Thai Railways network is excellent and tickets are available from any train station or local travel agency. However, we recommend that you make your reservation a little bit in advance if you wish to travel during the peak season, especially for the sleeper wagons on the night trains from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai to Bangkok, Bangkok to Samui and Samui to Bangkok. The ticket from Bangkok to Samui combines the night train (in a sleeper wagon) from Bangkok to Suratthani and the express-boat from Suratthani to Koh Samui. You will arrive in Nathon, which is
about 30 minutes from Chaweng with a local taxi. |

The Thai road network is quite good now, and keeps being improved and extended throughout the years. The many public and private companies running enable you to travel throughout Thailand and reach almost every single little town. It is definitely the cheapest way to travel in the country. The governmental buses are more typical, but the journeys are much longer because of the numerous stops before your final destination... The private companies and especially the VIP Buses are faster and more comfortable, with only one stop to have some food, which is often included in the price of the ticket. |

The Ferries, Express Boats and Speed Boats travelling between the mainland and the many islands, and between islands are quite safe, as very few problems are ever reported. There are many departures to and from the islands every day, with varying frequencies depending on the popularity of the island. |
